Because I am a traveler, I am always at home and never at home.
One of the outcomes of my passion for travel was a two-month trip around the world almost ten years ago. I planned every detail of that trip and made all the travel arrangements. While on that trip I sent email “postings” with each new destination. The response to those postings was enthusiastic beyond my expectations.
The following year, taking a much lesser trip, I had no plans to continue the email postings. However, after much encouragement, I continued year after year with the listing of recipients growing each year. Threatening to start a blog for several years now, I am finally making good on that threat.
In addition to posting about my travel experiences, I also plan to write on transportation and transportation infrastructure issues. Travelers are keenly aware of how difficult travel can be without transportation and the infrastructure to support that travel.
To verify my bonafides as a true traveler, I have visited all 50 states, am a member of The Circumnavigators Club, having circumnavigated the globe, and The Travelers Century Club, having visited 104 countries.
